What is the difference between Mesoderm and Mesotherapy? 

The significant difference between Mesoderm and Mesotherapy is the way the drugs are delivered. Mesotherapy injections irritate the tissue and immediately activate hyperemia, which is the body's effort to wash out injected substances from the delivery site. With Mesotherapy by injection, the delivered compounds are removed from the injection area within minutes.

The Mesoporation or Mesoderm mode of drug delivery is not only non-irritating and painless-- it is actually a soothing treatment experience that some say is addictively pleasant. There is no tissue irritation and all delivered compounds stay in the targeted area for hours.  We don’t have to be doctors to understand that the longer the tissues are exposed to the healing, rejuvenating and restoring compounds, the more time these compounds have to exert their positive effect on the cells. There is simply more time for the cells to absorb them.

Mesoporation or Mesoderm™ is a new, no-needle treatment. It delivers 99% of the prepared Mesotherapy formulation at the depth of 1 centimeter and approximately 65% at the depth of 6 centimeters.

In contrast, traditional needle mesotherapy and lipodisolve delivers only about 10% of the product at a depth of 1 cm.  This can make it less effective and may take more sessions to get the same desired effect.

History Behind Mesotherapy

Mesotherapy is a medical technique that originated in 1952 by Dr. Michel Pistor, a French physician. In 1987, the French Academy of Medicine recognized Mesotherapy as an inherent part of traditional medicine. The technique was first used to treat such conditions as vascular diseases, sports trauma, infectious diseases, rheumatology, and for the general improvement of circulation. However, soon after its discovery, physicians started using the technique for aesthetic indications.
